Monita was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in July 2005.   Her major practices are intellectual properties (contentious and non-contentious) including trademark, copyright, registered design, patent, and passing off infringement, injunction, opposition proceeding, and office action; commercial and civil litigations, including but not limited to shareholder disputes, sale of goods disputes, adverse possession, summary proceedings for possession of land, winding up proceedings, personal injury, traffic accident, employees’ compensation, medical negligence, building management disputes, mortgagee actions, defamation, construction arbitration, application under Part II of the Mental Health Ordinance, matrimonial and family matters.

She also has experience in contract drafting, non-contentious corporate and commercial matters, application for probate and letter of administration, and employment contracts.
